~ HAVANESE PUPPIES ~
The Havanese is a small sturdy dog of immense charm. They are slightly longer than tall, and covered with a profuse mantle of untrimmed long, silky, wavy hair. The hair is a much desired trait, which leaves the Havanese with no shedding and a very low allergy rating. They have a plumed tail that is carried loosely curled over the rump.
A native of Cuba, the Havanese have evolved over the centuries from the pampered lap-dog of the aristocracy into what they are today - the quintessential family pet of a people living on a small tropical island. The duties traditionally have been those of companion, watchdog, child's playmate and herder of the family poultry flock. The Havanese presentation in the show ring will reflect this function - always in excellent condition but never so elaborately coifed as to preclude an impromptu romp in the leaves, as their character is essentially playful rather than decorative.

When they are ready to go to their new homes, the puppies will have been through a worming cycle as well as have had their first shots. I keep the puppies until they are 8 weeks old and/or I am confident that they are eating hard food on their own.

I do hold puppies with a non-refundable deposit of half down and the remainder upon delivery of the puppy. I cannot hold a puppy without a deposit, and deposits are on a first come basis. I accept PayPal (there is a 4% charge for this method that will need to be paid by the new owner in addition to the cost of the puppy), money order and cash only. I ask that you take your new puppy to the vet within 3 days of receiving it, just to verify that you are fully satisfied with the health of your new puppy.

I can ship puppies, but the weather and my schedule will have to determine if and the date puppy's can be shipped. Because puppies cannot be shipped in extreme weather, there is limited times that they will be allowed to fly. The cost for shipping the puppy will be paid by the new owner and is not reflected in the cost of the puppy.

We currently have one litter of Havanese, born on Sunday June 6th. There are 3 beautiful new puppies born to Sarah and Sammy. We were blessed with 2 white and black males and 1 white female.

The second litter has arrived!! Phoebe had her puppies on Sunday July 18th. We were blessed with 7 new babies and everyone is doing great!! I will post pictures a little later when the babies are more photogenic. We have quite a variety of colors in this litter :0)

Spanky

This is the beginning of the first litter.

Spanky is a black and white male havanese. He is very neatly marked and full of love.

Darla is a white female with very light fawn spots on her ears and head. She is a tiny little female, but has an amazing little personality!

Petey is an incredible looking little male Havanese. He is white with black and cinnamon markings. He is very unique in his looks and personality!!
