The Havanese is a small sturdy dog of immense charm. They are slightly longer than tall, and covered with a profuse mantle of untrimmed long, silky, wavy hair. The hair is a much desired trait, which leaves the Havanese with no shedding and a very low allergy rating. They have a plumed tail that is carried loosely curled over the rump. A native of Cuba, the Havanese have evolved over the centuries from the pampered lap-dog of the aristocracy into what they are today - the quintessential family pet of a people living on a small tropical island. The duties traditionally have been those of companion, watchdog, child's playmate and herder of the family poultry flock. The Havanese presentation in the show ring will reflect this function - always in excellent condition but never so elaborately coifed as to preclude an impromptu romp in the leaves, as their character is essentially playful rather than decorative. I am only listing one picture of each of the puppies because of the download time when there are to many pictures posted. When they are ready to go to their new homes, the puppies will have been through a worming cycle as well as have had their first shots. I keep the puppies until they are 8 weeks old and/or I am confident that they are eating hard food on their own. I do hold puppies with a non-refundable deposit of half down and the remainder upon delivery of the puppy. I can not hold a puppy without a deposit, and deposits are on a first come basis. I accept PayPal (there is a 4% charge for this method that will need to be paid by the new owner in addition to the cost of the puppy), money order and cash only. I ask that you take your new puppy to the vet within 3 days of receiving it, just to verify that you are fully satisfied with the health of your new puppy. I can ship puppies, but the weather and my schedule will have to determine the date the puppy will be shipped. Because puppies can not be shipped in extreme weather, there is limited times that they will be allowed to fly. The cost for shipping the puppy will be paid by the new owner and is not reflected in the cost of the puppy. I will continue to update the pictures as they get older. The parents are Mercy and Zoey (they can be viewed on our Havanese page). This litter is AKC registerable. The first little guy here is black with a light cinnamon on his paws and above his eyebrows. He also has a small splash of white on each cheek, his chest and the tips of his back paws. He is quite adorable. ;void(0)) Lilo Lilo is very similar in markings as Stitch. She has a little more white on her chest and her cinnamon markings are a little bolder. ;void(0)) Zachariah Zachariah is a beautiful deep black male. He has just a fleck of white on his chest and a tiny amount of white on his back paws. He is an amazing little guy and so funny to watch. ;void(0)) Copper Copper is a black and white male parti. He is very neatly marked. He is quite the playful little guy who was not much interested in pictures. ;void(0)) Todd This is the beginning of our second litter of Havanese. They were born on 01/24/10 and their parents are Gracie and Sammy. They are APRI registered. Todd is the first little guy here. He is also a black and white parti with lots of love to give. ;void(0)) Delany Delany is a female with a darker cinnamon coat. She has a swirl of black, fawn & chocolate throughout her coat. She is a very fun loving little lady. ;void(0)) Nehamia Nehamia is a cinnamon male with white on his chest and on all four paws. He loves to crawl in your lap and cuddle, but doesn't hesitate to jump into the middle of a puppy pile either :) ;void(0)) Arianna Arianna is a fawn/cinnamon female. She has a variety of colors as well. Arianna is our greeter. She has to come out and see everyone with her tail wagging and ready for kisses. ;void(0)) *** SOLD *** Dozer *** SOLD *** Dozer AKA Josiah is currently sold to Michelle :0) Last but certainly not least is Josiah. He is a dark cinnamon male with a small amount of white on his back right paw.
