We recently loaned out one of our female Australian Shepherds as a companion. She came back to us pregnant. So...we now have a litter of 6 Australian Shepherd/Jack Russell puppies. There are 2 red and white females and 4 black and white males. The litter was born on December 10, 2009.

Although we had our doubts about how they would look, they are actually very cute. They have the markings like their mother (Aussie) and the stature of a Jack Russell. We did dock their tails, as both beeds generally have short tails. They have had their first set of shots and been through a worming cycle as well. They are very outgoing and love to be around people, but they are not as energetic as a typical Australian Shepherd can be.
