Australian Shepherds

Australian Shepherds are highly intelligent, very loyal dogs. They can be a wonderful addition to most families. They do very well with children as well. They do however require excercise and "tasks". Because they are a herding dog, if they are not given tasks, they become bored. This is easily fixed by playing ball, frisbee and taking on walks. We do have a few adult dogs that we have rescued and worked with that could be an excellent addition to your family. If interested in placing one of these dogs in your home please contact us and we can discuss this option :) I do not have pictures of everyone listed here, but if interested, I can e-mail them to you. I can also be reached at (309)261-8454.

This is our male. His name is Balto. Balto is a Red-bi weighing 35 lbs. He is a super intelligent and very loyal, loving dog. He thinks he is human and needs to be with the family at all times. He will follow simple commands. We hope in the near future to work with him on agility.

Aslan is a red merle male that we truly adore. He is our drama queen. He will do anything for attention. He loves to play with everyone even though he is the biggest dog we have, he thinks he is still a little lap dog. He has an awesome temperament and we hope to begin agility training with him as well.

Here is our beautiful Cricket. She is a stunning black tri. She is full of energy and incredibly intelligent. We have begun to work obedience with her and she is responding very well. When she is off the leash, she still thinks she is a puppy that can jump and greet everyone. She is a work in progress, but we are incredibly pleased with her progress. She has a very fun loving side and loves to meet and greet new people.
